Leora Joy and Scott Perrie have been making music together ever since the moment they met and fell in love back in 2012.  Through a 10-year journey as Winsome Kind, they’ve evolved into inspirational artists, with a mission to heal hearts and empower minds through music, to shine light in the darkness, and lead the way with love.  Following an expansive year, including 2 EmPower Positive Music Awards (for Trail of Love, and Frequency), and a Sask Music Award Nomination for Inspirational Artist of the Year 2025, they are absolutely thrilled to be releasing a new kind of album to the world, Mantras for a Magical Life-432Hz.

This new album includes 9 new mantras that were channeled directly from Leora’s heart, and created with conscious intention through the truest collaboration of husband and wife soulmates, along with their little angels who chose to sing along in studio.  A beautiful co-creation recorded, produced and mixed entirely in their home studio by Scott, and all recorded in 432 hz (the frequency of Mother Earth). Winsome Kind’s prayer is that they bring comfort, activate magic, heal hearts, and empower minds. Let your voice join in freely, or allow yourself to be immersed in an atmosphere of love over a cup of tea, sitting in the sunshine, dancing with your children; wherever and whenever you need a dose of magic, joy, and good vibrations. May these mantras be shared far and wide, sung in community circles, and as medicine to children and their mamas in the quiet hours.

Their previous album, Love in a Hurricane, release in 2023 was recorded almost entirely with a mobile on-the-go studio during a 2-year adventure throughout Mexico and across Western Canada (while living in a 32 foot camper) and included a free birth in the boreal forest. Love in a Hurricane is a blend of indie-folk-rock, and infused with heart and harmony. Completed on Salt Spring Island with the help of local legend Daryl Chonka (Old Growth Studios), it includes songs such as the new Earth anthem Hola Hola, Living Free, Frequency, Trail of Love, and Keep on Lovin’,

In 2024 they travelled as a family to Acapulco, MX to share their music and uplifting music and messages at Anarchapulco. Later that year they appeared at Music&Sky Festival in Northern California and were thrilled to share the stage with Five Times August. In May 2025 they had the pleasure of performing at Confluence in Bandera, TX at Sovereignty Ranch, alongside incredible speakers, podcasters, and musicians from across the world. Winsome Kind hope to inspire humanity through heartfelt connection, family, and unity, during this unprecedented time, in their authentic and winsome way.
